I am using Greek yogurt (Peach Flavored) and milk kefir (2%, pomegranate flavored) (Names are hidden for privacy issues). You are encouraged to do your own testing to confirm my findings. The result is repeatable in my kitchen.

Red Onion Cough Syrup
One large red onion - peeled & washed
Sweetener (brown sugar, stevia, or honey)
- Cut onion horizontally in slices. Place the base of the onion in a bowl, one layer at a time. Place sweetener in between every onion layer.
- Sit in room temp for 15 hr or overnight. Collect liquid.
- Take 1 Tbsp every 2 -3 hr or 'til cough subsides.
